The Story of Pee Wee

THE BACK STORY: In the mid-1990s, we worked for a municipal consulting firm that wrote and managed house grants for small cities around Texas. It was a lot of fun to travel all across this great state learning about and working with different communities. We helped first time homebuyers move from renting to owning, assisted elderly families with repairs that allowed them to stay in their homes and even helped build some new affordable houses in areas where new energy efficient homes were just not available.
Along the way we learned some valuable lessons. One lesson that we try to implement every day is known around our office as simply MPWLG.
In a small city in a rural area down below Houston, there was a City Manager named Pee Wee. On his desk was a sign with large letters that said MPWLG. Whenever we were in his city and had a question about how he wanted a problem handled or an issue resolved he would just point to his sign – MPWLG. In small letters along the bottom of the sign was the explanation –Make Pee Wee Look Good.
THE LESSON: Always take care of your client and their interests.
TODAY and everyday, we at Property Condition Consulting work to implement this lesson. It is our goal to always put our clients interests and objectives first. We do this through our service philosophy which is built on three basic concepts:
